Last Saturday Walter Tann had a moment of madness and abseiled down Liberty Heights tower, the 3rd tallest building in Manchester.  We’re pleased to report he survived the 240 foot decent which was in aid of The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.  Over 140 daring volunteers took part in the event including a team of nurses from one of the wards at RMCH.

This is a rather extreme way of raising money for a worthwhile cause so we’re not going to ask anyone to copy this feat.  However, if you have any ideas that can support our work at St James then please let us know.  No event is too small, it all helps.
